Ghana Superheroes

In Ghana, we are coming alongside the local people to help provide needed aftercare for children who have been rescued out of slavery in the fishing industry. The day I spent time at this aftercare home, I watched as the children were dismissed from school and immediately reached into their backpacks for their masks and capes. The previous day they had all been gifted a superhero costume and they were ready to play. It was such a wonderful moment to see these children, who have been through so much, playing in this way. With my camera I helped them fly.
